Why Learn Microsoft Excel?

Minimizing the Ribbon

This tip is really helpful for those who are using tablet PC or a laptop with a small screen. The Ribbon in Excel 2007 takes up too much space on your screen.

Here's how to minimize the ribbon.
1. Press Ctrl+F1
2. Right click the ribbon and choose "Minimize the Ribbon"

In the minimized state, you will only see the Office Icon, the Quick Access toolbar and the ribbon tab names.
